Details and specs

The Flydigi Vader 4 Pro is a mid-priced controller with Hall-effect sticks and triggers, which shouldn’t develop stick drift. Physical levers adjust the stick tension in three steps, and four programmable back buttons and macros are set up in Flydigi’s software. On the 2.4 GHz dongle or a cable it responds very quickly.

Bluetooth is much slower: one test measured about 22 ms of lag, so use the dongle for fast games. There’s no headphone jack, the back buttons take some getting used to, and it doesn’t work with Xbox or PlayStation consoles.

  • Hall-effect sticks with adjustable tension, Hall-effect triggers
  • Four programmable back buttons
  • USB-C cable, 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth
  • Works with PC, Switch, Android and iOS
  • Battery up to about 15 hours (maker’s figure)
