KZ Taurus

The KZ Taurus is an in-ear monitor built around a distinctive horizontal dual dynamic driver architecture. Instead of placing drivers face-to-face or coaxially, KZ engineers arranged dual 8 mm dynamic drivers horizontally side-by-side inside the cavity, routing them through an integrated horizontal acoustic conduit. This design shortens the path from the diaphragm to the sound tube, substantially reducing wave interference and high-frequency acoustic transmission loss.

Frequency management is handled by an active electronic crossover circuit that partitions the spectrum between an independent bass driver and a wideband mid-to-high dynamic driver. This separation produces crisp vocal articulation, precise spatial cue positioning for competitive gaming, and distinct instrumental layering without mid-bass bloom muddying the lower registers. The lightweight resin shells contour comfortably to the ear, paired with standard 0.78 mm 2-pin recessed sockets and a detachable dual-parallel silver-plated cable that can easily be swapped for KZ’s wireless Bluetooth ear hooks.
