Details and specs
The Anbernic RG CubeXX is a retro handheld with an unusual square screen. The 3.95-inch, 720×720 display suits Game Boy and other older games especially well. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI out, so you can play on a TV or use a wireless controller, and the rear grips, D-pad and buttons are comfortable.
Its chip is older (the same H700 found in many cheap handhelds), so it’s best for PS1 and older systems; N64, Dreamcast and PSP are hit and miss. Games made for other screen shapes show black bars, and there’s no touchscreen, which makes DS games awkward.
