Details and specs
The TempoTec Sonata BHD Pro is a headphone dongle with two jacks: a standard 3.5 mm one and a 4.4 mm balanced one. Through the 4.4 mm jack it’s strong for a dongle, with enough power for most earphones and many headphones. The body is machined aluminium, and 60 volume steps allow fine control.
It sounds better with some earphones than others, and it struggles with demanding full-size headphones, where the treble can turn harsh. There’s no gain switch.
